CSSF Introduces New U1.1 Reporting Transmission & Guidelines

From 15 November 2024, the CSSF requires U1.1 reports to be submitted via the new eDesk portal or XML API (S3 protocol), with old methods allowed only until 28 February 2025.

Transmission Methods (Effective November 15, 2024)

  • New submission channels have been rolled out:
    – a dedicated eDesk procedure, and
    – an XML API leveraging the S3 protocol

  • Old transmission methods remain available during a transition period ending on February 28, 2025.

Updated Guidelines: Version 6.1 (February 12, 2025)

  • The Guidelines on U1.1 Reporting (Version 6.1) now contain technical details covering:

    • the XML file format specifications, and

    • the new transmission channels (eDesk & API via S3)

  • This update applies to all Luxembourg-regulated funds, including UCITS, Part II UCIs, SIFs, and SICARs.
