Form for cease of AIF management
CSSF
Information to be provided to the CSSF by a Luxembourg AIFM when it ceases to manage an AIF non-authorised by the CSSF.
The CSSF (Luxembourg’s financial regulator) now requires AIF Managers to file a Form for Cease of AIF Management when they stop managing an Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) that is not CSSF-authorised. Available since 27 June 2025 (updated 18 July 2025), this form must be submitted via the eDesk portal, as stipulated under Circular 25/894.
This step reinforces regulatory transparency and ensures timely communication with the CSSF—remarkably, AIFMs must notify the cessation within 10 working days of the fund management termination.
